Republic Tequila! Certified Organic from the La Quemada distillery in El Arenal. I'm pretty sure that La Quemada was the first factory to achieve an officially certified organic designation and we've always loved the tequila that comes out of there. No exception here. Republic Tequila is pure, strong in agave and tasty. I had the privilege of sitting down with all three varieties of Republic Tequila and there is a nice progression within the family.

This golden colored reposado has a subtle nose of pepper and agave, smooth and slightly sweet with notes of fresh fruit and pleasant oak. Very enjoyable!

Having spent a lot of my childhood years growing up in various parts of Texas I think Republic Tequila is on to something here. It's no secret that "Texans love Texas" and while the tequila should be well received anywhere you can bet that these "Texas bottles" will become iconic standards in bars an restaurants all over the Lone Star State.
